Hello,

I’m Ray and, although I now live and work in the U.S., I am originally from the beautiful county of Yorkshire in England, the son of a coal miner and a mother who not only worked hard at home but in the factory as well. I have 2 brothers and I’m married to a wonderful lady, Elodia, and we have a daughter, Judith, who we hope to be watching pick up an Oscar one of these days!

I am a music fanatic – mainly listening but I do occasionally “strum” (at least, I call it that!) a guitar. The Beatles are the greatest, but I love most types of music, from pop to the weirdest stuff imaginable (tip of the hat to KFJC for turning me onto a lot of this weird stuff – I used to be a DJ there and still do the occasional show).

I enjoy sports of all kinds, especially all the “English” ones – soccer, rugby and cricket, but I’ve also become a fan of baseball since moving to the States. My favorite baseball team is the Minnesota Twins – time for another World Series win, boys!
